Starting at minimum tipped wage (+ tips), and dependent on experience. 40+ hours weekly.

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Sunroom Brewing is a family-owned and family-oriented microbrewery in Englewood, Colorado. Our mission is to create a welcoming space for members of the community to gather, linger, and drink good beer, comfortably.

We are fortunate to live in the Craft Brewing Capital of the United States. There’s a strong community within the industry, and an active Brewers Guild that offers a wealth of opportunities and events to Breweries and their employees alike. Our front of house staff will be able to participate in a wide array of experiences beyond our taproom. We are hiring people who take pride in their work, and who will join us in establishing and growing this space over the years to come. 

As a Beertender, you will be responsible for knowing details about our beers, facilitating draft sales, opening and closing the taproom, managing sales of merchandise and to-go containers, maintaining draft lines, maintaining the cleanliness of the taproom as well as providing excellent customer service. This position reports directly to the owners. We are looking for individuals with a love of craft beer, an interest in the craft beer industry, and an eagerness to treat this business as their own. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide outstanding customer service

  • Must have craft beer knowledge and interest

  • Regularly walk, climb, balance, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time

  • Handle cash and credit card sales

  • Maintain bar cleanliness throughout shift

  • Perform opening and closing duties that include cleaning bathrooms, securing the building, restocking coolers and merchandise, and other daily tasks

  • Openly communicate ideas and suggestions for taproom improvements

  • Clean serving areas and customer areas

  • TiPs certified or willing to become certified

  • Execute safe work operations, safety policies, and procedures

  • Perform any additional tasks as required by Taproom Manager or Owner

  • Represent Sunroom Brewing and our values to our customers on and off the job
